The Dane County Child Support Agency’s mission is to empower parents to provide for their children, strengthen families, and build community. We strive to accomplish this mission by offering assistance in establishing parentage, establishing support orders, locating parents, monitoring and modifying support obligations, and connecting parents to sustainable employment. We are committed to providing professional, respectful, inclusive, and equitable services that promote family self-sufficiency, as well as financial and social well-being.
Heads up! CSOS login is changing late summer 2026
You will need a myWisconsin ID account and a code sent to
you by text or email, or generated by an app. Your current logon
ID will no longer work after the transition later this summer.
What you should do now
Update your contact information in CSOS so that it includes your current:
- Email address
- Text-capable phone number
- Mailing address
Get a myWisconsin ID if you don’t already have one.
To get one, go to apps.wisconsin.gov and click “sign up” at the bottom of the screen.

Backpack Giveaway
Join us to celebrate families and Child Support Awareness Month. Child Support and their Partners will be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies, while supplies last. Parents, grandparents and children welcome. Games, prizes and treats available to all who attend. Staff will also be available for questions.

Meet with staff of the Dane County Child Support Office to assist you with questions about your child support.
First Monday of every month 12:00 - 4:30. Dane County Job Center, 1819 Aberg Ave, Madison, WI
Third Friday of every month 1:00 - 3:30. Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222 S. Park St., Madison, WI

The TouchPay Kiosk provides a quick and worry-free option for child support payments with cash and credit/ debit Cards.
Kiosk is available 8 am - 4:30 pm Mon-Fri and is located in the Dane County City County Building Lobby, 210 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Madison WI.
Cash payment fees are $3 for payments up to $100 and an additional $2 per $100. A 2.95% fee is charged for credit card payments.

Job Center On-Site Child Support Assistance

Dane County Child Support staff will be at the Job Center the First Monday of the Month 12:00 - 4:30
Please contact the Court Commissioner Center at 608-283-4821 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to provide a phone number where you may be reached. At the designated date and time on your hearing notice, the Court will call you to appear for the hearing. Failure to provide the court with a valid phone number may lead to the Court proceeding without your input.
Please be aware that an agent of the Child Support Agency may call you at some point before the hearing to try and resolve the matter.
Genetic Testing
Genetic testing Hours are Tue, Wed, Thurs from 10:00 - 2:00. Walk in’s accepted daily.
How to Check on Payment Status
The State of Wisconsin has created several outstanding resources to check on your child support payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is why Dane County Child Support no longer provides payment information over the phone. Please use one of the listed payment resources available to you to manage your account balances, court order summary and payments made or received.

- EPPIC Debit Mastercard: Toll-free 1-877-253-3686. No website at this time. EPPIC has a text message alert feature. To set up call their toll free number
- Direct deposit users can contact your local bank for savings and checking activities
